Established in 1984, Arachne is a community-based charity in Islington. Our mission is to empower women and help them reach their full potential. We do this by providing free welfare advice and support, health awareness and information, employment advice and training, accessible training and classes, and volunteering opportunities. We also work to increase the understanding of and celebrate Greek and Greek Cypriot culture.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

Arachne has recently had a small flood! We are still seing clients, but we would really value some help to wash down our office and community room walls and windows to get ready for a refurbishment. We might need support moving some office furniture. We will also be cleaning our shop front to look more welcoming for our clients and community.

Unfortunately, I received an email from Arachne Group saying that they have double booked on Tuesday evening.

So this session has been cancelled, but we hope to return in October. Watch this space.
