Location

Date and time

Monday, 12th of January 2026

Join us on Monday evening for a team challenge to search the streets of Sydenham for abandoned Christmas trees and carry them to the recycle point in Mayow Park where they will get chopped up into woodchip.

  1. Meet at the Bridge House for a 7pm start
  2. We'll split into teams. There will be different groups depending on the pace and distance you want to go from a 5km walk to an 8km jog. If you're new to GoodGym, this is a good session to join!
  3. We'll head off and search a few particular hotspots, keeping our eyes peeled and deliver any trees we find to the recycling point in the south eastern corner of Mayow Park.
  4. We'll aim to get back to the Bridge House for an optional drink for 8:30pm at the latest.

Please bring gloves as the trees can be spiky and it'll be cold I imagine!

Drop Mark an email if you have any questions.
