Discover WellingJoin us as we help Discover Welling decorate the big Christmas tree on Welling High Street. We’ll be adding baubles and festive cheer, and rumour has it there may even be a special guest in red… 🎅
We’ll also lend a hand with a quick tidy-up and litter pick around the area to make sure everything looks picture-perfect for the season.
Afterwards, we’ll take a short stroll to visit the famous 'Christmas Lights' house — if you’ve never seen it before, you’re in for a real festive treat! ✨
We’ll wrap up our efforts with hot drinks at Devi’s, where the hot chocolate is legendary ☕
🎁 What to bring
Baubles: If you have any spare Christmas tree decorations you’d like to donate, please bring them along!
Gloves: Protective or gardening gloves will be handy for the litter picking.
Loose change: Bring a few coins if you’d like to donate to the charity collection at the Christmas Lights house.
📍When and where
Meet 7pm at the cannon at the junction of Bellegrove Road with Hook Lane (approximate postcode DA16 3PA). Look out for Julie from Discover Welling who will be getting things organised for us.
