Help with environemal activities. This might vary from time to time. An initial task is to regularly water new plants at Stoke Newington sown at overground station and Rectory Rd station.

Stoke Newington Common Users Group (SNUG) have requested the help of one or two volunteers to plant a couple of young trees on Newington Common. One tree will be planted in memory of Mr Derek Thomas, the local bus driver who tragically lost his life by the common last summer. Mr Thomas's family will be in attendance.

A particular request has been made for volunteers with strong digging skills.

The session will be led by Bernie from Stoke Newington Users Group. It is not expected to be a long session. Possibly just half an hour to 45 mins. 1hr max.

Notes You might like to bring your own gardening gloves if you have them but gloves will be provided.
