Friends of Parkwood SpringsParkwood Springs Community Lantern Procession has developed over 10 years to be a fantastic free and accessible community event. It is organised by the Friends of Parkwood Springs, local artists and volunteers.
I have listed the event at 60 minutes and I suggest you volunteer for as little or as long as you wish. Please report to a member of the Friends of Parkwood Spring organisation once getting on site.
Here are the tasks which will be happening from 12noon until 8pm: Help with moving and carrying large lanterns from Abbeyfield House to van and assembling giant lantern at Parkwood Springs viewpoint. Carrying lantern on procession. Loading van after event, carrying larger lanterns back to Abbeyfield House. Tidying up the site after event.
