Location
St Peter's SquareManchester

Date and time
18:00 - 19:45Check out the reverse advent calendar and list, and start collecting. Location updated below too.
With the nights getting darker and outdoor temperatures getting colder, food banks get super busy around this time of year. Manchester Central Foodbank have a few locations in Manchester for accepting food donations to provide for those who need it. For other nearby foodbanks/donation points, Trussell Trust have a handy search tool.
If you have any items on the reverse advent calendar, please bring them along. Check out the list in the other image for urgently needed items.
We will be running approximately 1.4 miles (~2.3 km) from St Peter's Square (outside the Central Library, What3words: ///think.forum.votes) to ASDA Hulme (Asda, 100 Princess Rd, Hulme, Manchester M15 5AS). There is a donation point there for Manchester South Central foodbank and is open until late.
If you wish to meet directly at ASDA in Hulme, please let us know by commenting at the bottom of the page.
For Manchester Central Foodbank, they have a single drop off location during the busy period, only open 09:30-15:30 during the day at: Apex Self Storage, 2 Devonshire Street, M12 6JQ. Even if you can't make the task, any donations can be made there later in December.
