Who this task will support
Friends of Round Hill Society
The Round Hill Society represents the area comprising the Round Hill Conservation Area and the north side of Upper Lewes Road between Wakefield Road and the eastern end of Roundhill Crescent. Its purpose is to preserve the conservation area by promoting high standards of planning and architecture, to educate others, to improve the environmental quality of the area and to create civic pride and a sense of community within the area of benefit.

Get ready for a full body workout- it's time to do some green community action in this delightfully hilly neighborhood. We will join local community volunteers ready with choppers, secateurs, weed scrapers, paint brushers and rollers provided by the Tidy Up Team.

Tasks will involve cutting back overhanging greenery and remove weeds from the streets and steps of 'Cats Creep'. There might be also some anti-tagging action!

Bring your gloves, and not your perfect outfit (for painting).

Meet by the Queen's Victoria Statue at 18:15 , departing at 18:30.

If meeting at the task, you'll find us at the top of Cats Creep (junction between Wakefield Road, Richmond Road and Prince Crescent) at approx. 18:40

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 2km and 4km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
