Who this task will support
Martin Way Methodist Church
Christian CARE is a charity working in the London Borough of Merton. They are a group of 60 volunteers from 16 different churches offering help to anyone whatever their race, colour or religion. Each year over 100 families, whose lives are in crisis, are supported. They are always in need of food, clothes and furniture, so please follow the link to their website for further details and their latest requirements.

We will be supporting Martin's Way Methodist church who host The Open Table on Wednesday lunchtime and the Merton Winter Night Shelter on Tuesdays (Jan - March) - both are causes we support with ad-hoc sessions so get involved with those if you can too.

The kitchen is used by both groups/teams and we are in the process of deep cleaning/tidying: cupboards, shelves and the fridge. There is quite a bit to finish so this is a great task to get involved with whether you are a regular or first timer.

There is no group walk/run beforehand so please just make your own way there to arrive for 7pm at the church, address is Buckleigh Avenue, SW20 9JZ. When entering the building (glass door area from the car park) head inside and down the corridor to the left (kitchen is at the end).

How are you getting there?
