The Maidenhead Community Allotment is run by a group of volunteers, who grow food to share with local residents, the users of the Boyn Grove Community and Resource Centre and Maidenhead Foodshare. They work with Men in Sheds, who are based on the same site. Men in Sheds is an initiative to combat loneliness by providing a space for men to connect and chat over practical tasks.

Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature

From 7th April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!

Wednesday night is GoodGym night in Maidenhead and this evening we are helping the Maidenhead Community Allotment.

The task full details will be revealed on the day - but is likely to be a combination of digging, weeding, watering, planting and general tidying up!

This is a Community Mission so we meet at the task location, Boyn Grove Community and resource Centre, 11 Courthouse Road, Maidenhead, SL6 6JE. Some GoodGymers may also run, walk or cycle together to and from the task.
