Streatham Youth & Community Trust
SYCT's mission is to support children and young people to reach their full potential by providing regular stimulating, challenging, exciting and rewarding activities and opportunities. Most of their funding goes directly into the delivery of services and a skeleton staff team look after finance, fundraising and asset management. This means they don’t get the time needed to deal with things like repairs, maintenance, deep cleaning and the like.

Today's task is to help out our friends down at Streatham Vale Park

The tasks included will be:

  • Breaking down of mounds into a flat surface and moving large tractor tyres.

  • Clearing/trimming/signposting outdoor nursery.

  • Digging up ground in planting trees for a community orchard.

Lots to get stuck into so we'd like as many volunteers as possible! A wonderful Task Force member will be there to look after you as well.

Hi guys,

Tanika has asked to cancel the session as only two people wouldn’t be enough to do the work required and push the session back a week.
