Date and time
16:30 - 17:15This Friday food mission will have a huge impact - we are supporting Educating beyond Borders to get surplus meals and deliver them to students in need.
The Mission 🚀 📅 Dates: 7 & 21 March, 4 & 18 April, 2, 16, 30 May 2025 🕓 Time: 4:30 - 4:45 PM (Collection) / 5:00 - 5:15 PM (Drop-off) 📍 Pick-up: School of Wok, Covent Garden 📍 Drop-off: British Library 👥 Volunteers Needed: 2-3 per session 🥡 Food: Meals come ready-packaged in takeaway containers—just bring a bag or a way to transport them.
At the School of Wok there is a glass door that opens directly onto the pavement. When someone comes to the door just explain you are here for the charity collection. When you get to the British Library at 96 Euston Road (NW1 2DB) go to the entrance to the building itself (not the gates). Rox from Educating Beyond Borders will be just outside this door so that you don't have to pass bagcheck at security.
✅ It’s short & high impact. 45 minutes of your time = meals saved + students fed ✅ It’s active & social. Walk, run, or cycle your way to making a difference. ✅ It’s an easy win for the planet. Prevent food waste while helping students thrive.
