January training run - Week 1

Christmas is over, boo! (unless you are reading this before Christmas, then yay!) and January is upon us. Trying to keep yourself motivated to run over the winter can be tough. We will be trying to have a group training run every Thursday in January so we can keep each other motivated.

The idea is to meet at the centre of Queen Square on Thursday evening at 6:30pm ready to run. I, Richard G will have a 4 mile (ish) route planned each week that I’ll put up on the site but if anyone wants to suggest another route beforehand (I can put on site) we can do that instead. We’ll keep the pace easy and stay as a group to chat but if a few people want to go faster that’s cool too and we can have two groups 🙂

Week 1 - The Harbourside

An easy one to start with to shake off the post Christmas blues. We will go for a nice run around the harbourside where we can take in such views as the SS Great Britain and maybe the Bristol Crocodile. Sign up if you are interested 🙂
