WEAct Wokingπ³ Boosting nature and supporting local wildlife by providing new habitats and food sources π¨ Improving air quality by absorbing pollutants and releasing oxygen. π Green spaces with trees reduce stress and keep us feeling happy and healthy π Trees provide shade, reduce urban heat, and help manage stormwater, which will make Woking more resilient to extreme weather events like flooding. π€ Bringing our local community together and get to know each other better.
Thanks to WEActβs partnership with Woking Borough Council and a generous donation of 420 trees from the Woodland Trust, WE ACT is bringing more nature to the community. Come help them get these trees in the ground! Meet in the car park next to the St John's Memorial Hall GU21 7SQ; alternative parking available in the car park next to Rowlands
