Narthex SparkhillWe will be helping out at Sparkhill Clothes Bank which is run by Narthex Sparkhill.
They are holding a vintage pre-loved charity sale to help raise money for their money advice service and foodbanks.
They would be very grateful for our help in setting up and then helping out during the charity sale. The charity sale idea comes from Rose who is a GoodGym member and it would be great if anyone could help out with this event and help it be a success.
I have listed this from 11 am - 4pm, but you do not have to stay the whole time if you need to get off early or arrive late. Any time you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
The Clothes Bank/Foodbank is close to Tyseley train station which is only a 6 min train from Birmingham Moor Street if you are coming from central Birmingham.
There was a little difficulty finding the exact location on the first mission, so please look out for Hay Hall Road (the first left from Kings Road if coming from the train station and the Foodbank is down there on the right - it is by Acocks Green boxing gym). There is a small sign for the Foodbank and the shutters may be down if you are arriving late but let us know you have arrived and we will open them :)
How are you getting there?
