Nomad - Opening DoorsNomad exists to improve access to decent, affordable housing while helping people to transition out of homelessness. Nomad provides ongoing support to enable clients to develop the skills and resilience to avoid homelessness in the future.
Nomad are a small charity, with no government funding. They rely entirely on fundraising from grants, rental income and donations from the public. Without our support, they wouldn’t be able to provide housing for people who are struggling with homelessness in Sheffield.
One of Nomad's properties, which houses tenants, requires some work in the garden, including general tidying, trimming, weeding, and grass cutting.
A well-maintained garden will create a welcoming space for tenants, promote well-being, and enhance community pride.
Please bring gloves with you so we can get stuck straight in, once on site.
We'll be meeting with Tim from Nomad to hear more about the charity and why the task is so important to the work Nomad does.
