Date and time
13:45 - 17:15FareShare South West is running an emergency Foodstock campaign to help meet the unfortunate demand for food assistance this winter. We’ll be helping them pack food parcels at their warehouse (next door to the Wickes).
IMPORTANT POINTS If you're feeling unwell or have any possible covid symptoms please don't come and put anyone at risk, also if you're asked to isolate or have any other reason you can't make your shift please let us know as soon as possible so we can find a replacement.
Please put your mask on before entering the warehouse and keep it on at all times. FareShare can provide masks, high vis, steel toe cap overshoes and protective gloves but if you have your own you're welcome to bring them.
Please practise social distancing 2m as much as possible in the warehouse (although there may be times when this isn't always possible).
Please bring plenty of warm clothes (it will get cold in the warehouse), a water bottle, a mug if you have one and your own snacks or food if you would like it (tea and coffee will be provided).
Some manual handling and lifting will be required.
Before the task, you will be asked to provide some basic info to FareShare for track and trace. Your email and telephone number will be stored in Fareshare records to log who is in the warehouse for track and trace if need be, there will also be an NHS Track & Trace QR code at the entrance which you are welcome to scan.
There is access to toilet and handwashing facilities in the building and sanitising stations around the building – please use them regularly.
Additional info will be emailed before the task.

Car parking is limited and there is no cycle provision in the Wickes car park
The warehouse is located next door to Wickes and you can enter via the main pedestrian doors. When you walk through the entrance doors head straight upstairs to the Mezzanine level where you will meet your Shift Supervisor for signing in and briefings.
