UNA-Luton is the Luton branch of the United Nations Association. We work in partnership with Equality in Diversity CIC and a wide variety of community organisations and statutory agencies to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We stand for equality, justice, peace, human rights, community cohesion, preserving the environment and combating climate change, the protection of minorities and the defence of national sovereignty against international aggression. We reject the attempts by terrorists, extremists, authoritarians and populists to divide societies by setting communities and faiths against each other and demonising refugees and asylum seekers. They will not succeed because the vast majority of people in Britain and across the world wish to live with mutual respect and in harmony.

Join in the musical fun by helping at the UNA Peace March.

Walking with the costume band, we will be making sure that they get water when they need it (collecting water from the water station and bringing it to the band members who cannot leave their position) and making sure no one gets separated on the parade.

Slightly different to usual tasks this has a dress code - you will need to wear your black GoodGym tshirt (if you have it) and then blue or white for the rest of clothes. We are having some costume accessories made for us by the band so they will need us to take our wrist and ankle measurements and send them over quickly so do sign up as soon as you can.

We will meet at the Hat Factory and walk together to the parade meeting point.
