13:00 - 15:00This Friday, join us to help plant 600 trees and create a new Tiny Forest, a great way to use company paid volunteering days or make a trip for half term.
Location: North Norlands Open Space, TF Rifle Pl, London W11 4JX. The exact location is here (Coordinates: (51.50933127746371, -0.2174563683684607 | w3w:///orders.mash.city).
Earthwatch say: We have planted four Tiny Forests in H&F already (Hammersmith park, Normand park, Frank Banfield park and Eel brook commons). And all four are such beautiful sites; I am not supposed to take sides, but the Tiny Forest at Hammersmith Park is my favourite one (I always find toads and newts whenever I lift a biodiversity tile inside the Tiny Forest, it also has a fox den at the back of the forest and you can also find a few frogs when you go there in spring!). We are now planting another Tiny Forest in H&F, at Norland Open Space (just above the kids play area). Its happening on 21 February, we would love to invite you and your team to join us to plant the 600 trees that make up a Tiny Forest! We will also need hand with mulching after, so we can use all the help we can get.
How are you getting there?
