We meet the need for emergency and affordable food, and tackle the causes of poverty, by harnessing the power of the community.

"A letter drop is a powerful, practical way to support our work. Every letter you deliver helps raise awareness and generate vital donations so we can continue supporting people across Cambridge."

✅ In support of Cambridge City Foodbank's winter appeal, we'll use our group run for a letter drop around Cambridge (exact location TBC). We’ll be provided with bundles of appeal packs to post through letterboxes in assigned roads. Routes and groupings to be specified nearer the time.

📌 We will meet at Parkside Pools at 6:10pm. Toilets and bag drop available. The run is 2km each way. Option to meet at the letter drop site at 6:20pm. Location TBC.

💪Let's do good and keep fit!

Some information from Cambridge City Foodbank:

  • It’s helpful to have a phone with you – to take photos, access maps, and keep track of the areas you’ve covered.

  • Avoid letterboxes with signs like “No unaddressed mail” or “No leaflets.”

  • Use your judgement when entering front gardens and driveways. We do not suggest entering inside a property, even if invited in.

  • Be mindful of dogs or warning signs near letterboxes.

Every letter you post helps someone in our city access the support they need, when they need it most. We’re so grateful you’re part of this – thank you.
