Who this task will support
Cranbrook Community Centre
Tucked behind Roman Road, this vibrant Community Centre is a lively hub of connection, creativity, and care. Run by two longstanding local residents, the centre is a welcoming environment for all, offering a wide range of free-to-access events and activities that help to bring people together from all walks of life. From music and parties to fitness classes and prayer groups, there's something for everyone. With a strong focus on inclusion and affordability, the centre also provides low-cost hall hire to support local groups and initiatives. More than just a building, Cranbrook is a place for the community to grow.

Tonight we head back to one of our longest standing tasks, the Cranbrook Community Food Garden.

We will be helping task owners Janet and Eileen with the big monthly leaf clear out, tidying the garden and its borders.

Tonight's activity: Everything you need to know

  • Please bring your own gloves if you have them.

  • There are toilet facilities available, and secure storage for bikes and bags.

  • We'll be working in the garden on various tasks until around 8 (but we may finish a little early). We will be working in teams, seeing who can blitz the four corners of the garden first... Read how we got on at our fun August visit to the Community Centre here.
