The Hope CentreSomething a bit different this week.. We will be helping with refurbishing church community centre chairs to make them easier to sit on and hopefully getting more bums on seats!
The Hope Centre church and community centre needs some better chairs and without budget for new ones, the next best option is to refurbish what they already have. It will provide a much better quality of experience for community visitors to their building.
All of the chairs need their fabric and foam removing and replacing. It's kind of fiddly work but many hands make light work! We don't need to get all of them done in one go but we can make a start.
We'll be meeting Mark McKnight from The Hope Centre to learn more about what they do and tell us about the task before getting stuck in.
The task will be taking place at:
The Hope Centre Bernard Road Sheffield S2 5BQ
Please do bring a pair of gloves and a headtorch. Thanks.
