MAC are Maidenhead's volunteer run athletic club - a welcoming and buzzing club with both a senior and a junior section. Every Good Friday the club hosts the Maidenhead Easter Ten, a popular 10 mile race.

The Maidenhead Easter 10 is Maidenhead's local race. It is organised by Maidenhead Athletic Club (MAC), the route takes in lovely local scenery around West Maidenhead and White Waltham air field, and it is really well supported and attended by the local community...including GoodGym!

Held on Good Friday, this 10 mile race really is a cracking way to start the Easter weekend. We eggspect this year's event will be particularly eggcellent for a couple of reasons... Firstly it is being organised by superstar MAC member AND GoodGym W&M member Jen, and secondly GoodGym will have our very own water station!

At the water station we will be responsible for filling and handing out cups of water to runners, and giving them a big GoodGym cheer to spur them on. Our location will be near the 6th mile marker, so runners will be over half way, but might be in need of some GoodGym love to see them through to the finish. We will also be clearing up litter.

This event is a great opportunity for us to tell the people of Maidenhead about GoodGym, so wear your t-shirt with pride and make sure to bring the GoodGym party atmosphere!

Note that we are not meeting at the race village, but going straight to the water station. The location is on Butchers Lane, a 5-10 minute walk from White Waltham. You can find it at what3words location ///represent.leafing.bolts or by following this dropped pin. The road will be closed for most of the morning, but you'll be able to get through on foot or by bike.

Fancy running and being cheered on by your fellow GoodGymers instead? Enter here if you want to run.
