We will be supporting WEAct 🌍 We will be doing miscellaneous tasks on the Lye eg: removing invasive saplings cutting back laurel regrowth. processing previously cut arisings. We will use a variety of tools:- Loppers, Bow Saws, Tree poppers and mattocks.
We will be meeting in the car park next to St John's Memorial Hall GU21 7SQ, Alternative parking available in the car park next to Rowlands
🌳 Boosting nature and supporting local wildlife by providing new habitats and food sources 💨 Improving air quality by absorbing pollutants and releasing oxygen. 😌 Green spaces with trees reduce stress and keep us feeling happy and healthy 🌍 Trees provide shade, reduce urban heat, and help manage stormwater, which will make Woking more resilient to extreme weather events like flooding. 🤝 Bringing our local community together and get to know each other better.
