Why we are supporting The Clare School
The Clare School pupils are learning about Super Heroes this half term. As part of their learning, inspired by others who have been completing great challenges, they wanted to try to raise money for some of their very own Super Heroes, Soul Foundation who have delivered the families of The Clare School with over 1000 boxes, providing over 47,000 meals. The week 8 – 12th March is going to be when we will all be trying to walk/push/crawl the miles.
The pupils are aiming to travel 500 miles during the week and hoping to raise £500. Some pupils will be completing real miles, others will be undertaking ‘Clare School’ miles - maybe pushing their own wheelchair the length of the corridor, or crawling the width of the hall. For our home learners, they may be completing laps of the garden or lengths of the lounge. We will be walking, pushing, crawling, using our walkers, stepping using standing slings, however we move, we will be trying our hardest and pushing our own abilities to the limit.
Please support us to achieve our goal to say thank you to our real life Super Heroes -
