Blood, Sweat, but No Tears!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Birmingham.
- Saturday, 18th of July 2020
It started raining as we arrived at the house, but luckily it didn't last very long.
Mr R spends a lot of time in his kitchen and unfortunately his garden had grown to the point where he had lost his view! This time we both focused on the back garden. John did a great job clearing the brambles so that Mr R got his view back, while Rachel tried to clear a path, so he can go out into his garden without worrying about tripping.
After an hour and a half of hard work, the garden was looking a lot clearer, but there is still a lot of work to do! Hopefully we will be invited back to finish the job. Next time Rachel will remember to wear long trousers when there are brambles around...
