Chair-ish the thought, of putting it here on the side (of the road)
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Thursday, 11th of April 2019
Conroy and Mridula (me) rocked up to Mr. T's house to help him move a couple of chairs and a side table so he could fit a bed in his living room. After educating Conroy that most electrical reclining chairs can be pulled apart (I've done many of these missions!) we proceeded to dismantle the first chair. We made quick work of this and then did the second chair, and then moved the filing cabinet so it was perfectly positioned for Mr. T's cane. We completed the mission so quickly that we even had a chance for a quick chat. Mr. T is the proud possessor of many model cars and he showed us his full collection, including a couple which were labelled as originating from a place called Crinkley Bottom (tee hee). A fun good deed!
