We had a wonderful time joining our amazing friends at Roundhouse Birmingham to litter pick by Kayak! Still allowing us to get our fitness in as we Kayaked 3km round the Birmingham canals, while completing our task. If running and litter picking is "plogging", what would this be? Playaking?
It was fabulous to have first timers with us, who got stuck in and we really hope to see you again! Lovely to meet you Louise, Kasia and Richard! It was so good seeing Liam, Annie and Laura our GG Brum OGs at the task too!
After an expert safety briefing from Andrew at Roundhouse we were lead by Kayak leader Helen round the Icknield Port Loop where we found cans, a pool noodle and several footballs (hence the pun, which isn't my best I'll admit).
Thanks Amy for organising this and taking pics, as well as Eve who also took some great photos.
We all had a lovely time and collected loads of litter in the sunshine.
