Santa’s shElves
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.
- Saturday, 14th of December 2019
On a crisp, bright morning in St Margaret’s two GG Elves came to Mr M’s place to play Elf on the Shelf.
Mr M suffered from some medical issues which prevented him from being able to position and fix some shelves in his bedroom. He certainly had no shortage of materials, however, as a huge variety of brackets, wooden shelves and tools came “out of the woodwork” - it seemed there was nothing Mr M didn’t have a large supply of!
The GG Elves took the reindeer by the horns and got going on drilling holes in the wall, fixing the brackets in place and attaching the shelves. For the largest one we were ably assisted by a gorilla (in glue form).
After a couple of hours the job was done and the Elves stood back to admire their handiwork. Mr M was delighted with his new shelves and we all wished each other a Happy Christmas!

Well done, Michelle and JP, for what looks like quite a tricky mission. Looks like you nailed it!
