This week's promised starter run turned into something totally different, 10k and some pretty tough hills too!
We had a last minute change of plan for the task so instead of Brandon Hill we headed to Avon Gorge to help Surfers Against Sewage with their annual beach clean. But by the time we got there they were all finished so we had to go to plan c - a longer run up a big hill and a little weeding.
We met at our regular Saturday spot - Roll for the Soul, and after a bit of introductions including to visitors from Bath and Haringey, we headed off on the run. This weeks run took a beautiful route, going through some of the most picturesque parts of Bristol, along the harbour, under the suspension bridge, up a massive hill (Nightingale Valley) through Leigh Woods (great work everyone!) and then back over the suspension bridge, through Clifton and to Brandon Hill for our little task.
Thanks to everyone for putting up with the changes in the plan, and for getting stuck into a hilly 10k when you'd been promised 3k!

Who wins the prize for the best jump? Matt or Kim I reckon
Chloe's is pretty good too!
Thanks all, enjoyed the day in retrospect. I haven't done that much running in one day for quite a while, apologies if I was grumpy.
Cool piccie. Kim is almost hanging off the suspension bridge. :)
