A sweltering Thursday morning volunteer shift at City Harvest’s Acton Park Warehouse . It started with recycling, scrubbing skates and rescuing sunflowers, but moved up a gear with a delivery of a van load of fresh produce which needed urgent sorting, crating and refrigerating.

Luckily dodged the thundery showers cycling home afterwards.
