I volunteered with another volunteer at my local school street . It was a lovely afternoon with lots of children and their families enjoying the closed road. Unfortunately there were a lot of cars as well not all were allowed through as they had no permit to pass. There was one grumpy resident as well

I volunteered with another volunteer at my local school street. I manned the corner with my 5mph paddle to stop the teachers speeding out of the grammar school and other cars driving too fast as they turn the first corner of the one way system. Lots of children , scooters , mums pushing prams etc . It was a lovely afternoon

I volunteers with 2 other volunteers today at my local school street . I manned the closure with them until the grammar school day finished then I manned the corner where teachers come on from school onto and it’s near the first of the 2 primary schools with a nursery in between them . All the teachers and the other car drivers acknowledged my 5mph sign which was great . It was busy with children and their families . It was a beautiful afternoon as the sun was out !!

I volunteered again as a Park Walker at Alexandra Park run . It’s going towards my 100K March Challenge for St Ann’s Hospice . I chatted with a lady who couldn’t run due to back pain but had decided to walk instead. I also spoke to 3 young women who had been part of the 6 first timers that I chatted with last week. They are trying to make Park run part of their weekend!! It was a lovely morning

I volunteered at Alexandra Park run as a Park Walker but when I arrived I was asked to be a Tail Walker. It was good fun I support 6 first timers with their walking . They all completed the Parkrun . Hopefully they will come again next week ! There were no other Trafford GoodGymers present. It was my 3rd Parkrun as part of the 100k March challenge for St Ann’s Hospice
