Thursday 6th February

Written by Lisa W

It was a glorious sunny morning out on Crookhorn Golf Course today. I joined 7 members of the PAWARA Environment Group to plant 250 tree whips of 10 different species, including Beech and Field Maple. The area was alive with wildlife having spotted a hovering kestrel, a queen bee, and plenty of big worms. It is likely that the trees will need protecting due to the Tree Warden noticing a deer run track behind the area. The task wasn't completed so is planned to be finished off next Thursday.
