Once upon a time there was a park in central Bath. It was filled with the sound of joy, laughter and children. Relish Running had put on a race for over 1,500 people and Moorland road library needed marshals to help staff the event, which in return would raise vital funds for their library.
It was a beautiful day. We helped to register runners, hand out medals, give out refreshments and celebrate achievements.
It was a lovely event to be part of and great to know we help to raise funds for a great cause.

Two Goodgymers joined the Moorland road library team at the Two Tunnels races in Bath. We helped hand out race bib numbers, medals and refreshments. Over 1,000 runners came through the registrations tent, including some Goodgymers who had signed up to run it!
Moorland road library is a community library that relies upon public funding. By volunteering for them at the Two Tunnels race we helped to raise funds to keep them going :)

Four runners ran to help out taking down and sanding, followed by painting children’s book shelves at Moorland Road Community Library, which was a really fun especially using the sanding power tool, but dusty task for a start off with! (Cough!) Then we glued on some colourful triangle patterned wallpaper at the back to make it look more creative!
