Tonight the 3 of us were treated to a pretty intense workout at the hands of Newtown community Association, assisting in the creation of a wildflower bed. Lots of digging and muddy shoes but at least we got some chocolate biscuits!

Tonight we had a last minute change of task, back to a spot of litter picking! The 5 of us cleaned up the back streets behind Exeter High Street, filling 3 bags and making the city a tiny bit cleaner.

A lovely sunny Saturday morning task clearing brambles today, we were joined by a new member Ed, who some of you might have met at Belle Isle Park.
The three of us totally cleared the area of brambles, and we were even joined by a couple of members of the local community

Todays task was such a fun one - sprucing up a couple of areas in Newtown for the community association.
The before and after pictures just show the difference the 3 of us made (with some super help from 2 local residents).
Plus we got an ice cream - all the name of keeping cool in this hot weather of course!

Tonight, 6 GoodGymers were out helping clear a community green space - cutting, lopping, pruning and clipping an area that was overgrown.
As we made our way through the overgrowth we found an old camping sign, a Buddha statue, some old tins, and general bits clearly left there for a long while.
A true highlight was seeing the local vixen that the community area feed and look after, amazing how close she was to us! (and the chocolate treats from Pat, the task owner, were lovely too!)
