On Peckham Rye Juniors parkrun 2nd birthday and 100th event, Maria, Olive, Paulin and Sam all came to assist the team for this special occasion and milestone.

With all of us marshalling bar Paulin, who did timekeeping for the first time and clocked 142 kids which was 13 off beating the record.

At the end of the session, there was plenty of cake and sweets for everyone! 🥳 Happy birthday Peckham Rye Juniors parkrun and to many more birthdays!

Second last Sunday before the school holiday ends, so numbers of kids attending this Junior parkrun were still low. A total of 62 kids came and ran the 2k course as Paulin, Maria and Sam marshalled whilst Clare was one of the time keepers.

Elena, Olive, Paulin and Sam helped the Junior parkrun team at Peckham Rye park with marshalling and cheering the kids around this 2k course. Despite starting later than usual, the kids were super speedy this morning! 🏃🏼‍♂️

Olive, Paulin and Sam met up at Peckham Rye park with the other Junior parkrun volunteers to help run this session as the summer holidays always prove difficult to get volunteers.

With three GoodGymers in participation, we marshalled and barcode scanned as 66 runners came through in the glorious sunshine.

On this sunny and warm Sunday morning 63 children turned up to run 2km in Peckham Rye. Clare was volunteering for bar code scanning and Olive was marshalling.

Maria and Sam met up with all the other junior parkrun volunteers in Peckham Rye Park to ensure this parkrun could go ahead. Despite the weather threatening them with rain, they managed to stay dry as they both marshalled, clapped and encouraged the 60+ kids around this 2k course!
