This week we were back at the secret garden to do a spot of weeding. Expertly supervised by Sasha the cat, 4 GoodGymers cleared the public steps and pathway. We made them a bit safer from slip hazards and all around a cleaner area.

Tonight 7 GoodGymers were back at the Secret Garden in Newtown, in what seemed a very overdue visit!
After a little run and walk we were greeted by community builder Pat, who put us to work weeding, sweeping, painting and cutting - getting the area back up to spec!
A huge thank you and welcome to another 2 members this week, Charlotte and Sally, we loved having you with us and we hoped you enjoyed the session.
We're back at the secret garden next Tuesday (27th), to do some weeding on the public paths and stairs - followed by a social drink to celebrate 5 years of doing good in Exeter.

Tonight, Lucy and I were back at the secret garden doing a spot of weeding and clearing. Highlight of the night was Lucy tackling the Ivy lights, untangling them ready to use. We were also joined by a new community builder, Debbie, who we’ve helped before at Newtown Preshool - she’ll have some projects for us soon!

Tonight, 3 GoodGymers were back helping Newtown Community with some urgent accessibility work. A path had become so covered with Moss that it wasn’t safe for the residents to use without slipping. We tooled up and cleared the area, and you can see the pictures for yourself! We made a huge difference!

Hi there!
What a fantastic evening we had at the Secret Garden!
8 GoodGymers attended this evenings task, a great turn out and our most since the summer. It was lovely to be back at a community garden that we've helped before, clearing up, weeding, brushing to get it back to where it needs to be. A huge shout out to Rosie, who has now achieved 12 straight months of missions, fantastic work!
We had our first group run in ages! A smallish distance to blow the cobwebs off!
A absolute highlight and a first for us was the appearance of a fox! A regular visitor to the secret garden, the fox has been cared for and fed and just sat there watching us on the task. We all stood and watched him and forgot to take our group picture haha.
A really important part of our missions is the social impact they have, and it was so nice to see some friends that we hadn't seen in a while, catching up on what we've been watching on tv, what fitness activities we've been doing (like a marathon walk by Rachel)
I look forward to seeing you all on future tasks, have a looks what's on here
