As we all said, it was far too sunny for an indoor task! But many hands make light work, and we brought out books by the box-load to organise for the book sale.
The only thing that held us back was an issue of categorisation: should the poetry books go in fiction or non-fiction? This threatened to derail our whole system and leave the group dynamic in tatters. Luckily Steve calmed the controversy with a gentle reading of one of the poems in question, by Roger McGough, on kiwis doing wiwis. That rhyme alone was enough to convince us that it actually belonged... in the children's section.

Shaking things up a bit this month, we were asked to prioritise children's books for half term. With only three of us it felt like the task took longer than usual but we still finished in the hour.

Another session helping Tang Hall Library raise some funds! While setting up the book sale, Amy appreciated some wise advice on How to Get your Teacher Ready for School, while Joanna found some Sweet treats and Jenna fell Hook, Line and Singer for a tuneful tome. Not sure what Lucy was thinking though...

As regulars at Tang Hall Library, we know the drill, and had the books set out in double-quick time ready for another bumper sale to boost library funds.

An unusually strenuous book swap set up this month with two extra tables to stack and a few less hands than usual.
It was Annika's first task after signing up for GoodGym seven years ago* but she was quickly sorting like a task veteran. Hopefully it wont be another seven years before she joins us again 😁

Another successful book swap task and probably less attention than usual to making the tables aesthetically pleasing. Hopefully the mini self help section we added will change lives although the book on crocheting a snood could arguably have a bigger impact.
