Five Goodgymmers came to support The Rotary Club of the Wreake Valley with their Santa Sleigh collection around the housing estate. This is a favourite annual task starting, appropriately, at one end of Nicklaus Drive, Santas sleigh is towed around every side road and cul-de-sac until we get to the other end two hours later. The kids love to come out for a photo opportunity standing on the sleigh and the older ones dig deep to put something in the buckets. Stu wins the award for best outfit.

4 goodgymmers donned their wet weather gear and helped junior parkrun go ahead this weekend

A fabulous morning for tidying up the towpath! Goodgymers Mohamed, Ian, Nick and Jen met up with CRT Rich, Peter and Alison for a partnership task. Unusually the area was relatively tidy which resulted in 4 bags of litter collected by Jen and Alison. The rest of the gang did an excellent job clearing the leaves and vegetation off the towpath- it looks superb. Well done to Mohamed for running 10km to the meeting point and also to Ian for walking 4.26 miles!

6 goodgymmers helped out with junior parkrun before lots of participants (and helpers!) headed off for various festive tasks...mainly tree buying!

We had parkrun event 125 at abbeypark and Martin was there, at Braunstone we had Jimmy and Ian we had Dave at watermead and at Melton we had Nick well done all.

Six Goodgymmers went for our third consecutive year of putting up their Christmas trees at the Menphys office in Leicester. Stu and Jimmy made a great job of the big real tree in reception. Huw and Nick each had a large bag of branches to build into a tree. Biggest ones at the bottom, smallest at the top, and the rest somewhere in between. Lynn and Lindsay were wrapping presents for the young centre users. we soon ran out of baubles but Menphys have some new custom printed ones this year. The cakes were suitably festive
