This afternoon 6 runners arrived at the Healthy Living & Learning Centre run by Age UK.

It was our third weekly visit attending to the gardens at this community space. We were met by our task host Caroline who supplied us with tools, gloves and bin bags, and showed us where our help was needed this week.

The memorial garden had a rather neglected look to it, so we got stuck in clearing the whole area of weeds, including the paths and flower beds. The rain held off, and we managed to easily fill 10 bin bags by hand in just under an hour!

The result left a much cleaner and clearer garden, with plants now visible and the grass ready for a trim. We will hopefully return again next week to finish this off, and tackle the remaining area round the front of the building.

Well done to Jared & Hannah for completing their first Good Deed! It was lovely to meet you all, and hopefully see you again.
