10 playful GoodGymmers raced down towards White Hart Lane Stadium to help the wonderful Haringey Play Association at Somerford Grove Community Project.
Tonight, the amazing runners from Haringey GoodGym chopped, swept, dug deep and found their inner children at the playground
Can we get a woop woop?
The lovely Molly and Jenny joined us today for their first ever group run and my, oh my, they threw themselves into it. Natural born GoodGymmers!
A night at the playground
That was a fun task! A nice run down the Seven Sisters High Road and Tam from Haringey Play Association welcomed us in a veritable kids paradise (and the odd grown up GoodGymmer's too) and set us to work in a number of tasks.
Some gardened to their heart's content, whilst others used axes with such a skill and passion that it really didn't feel like they were newbies at it. After half hour, we really didn't want to leave the playground but alas... all good things come an end.
Back at base camp, we agreed we'd like to go back ASAP!
Onto the next!
Next week, we'll be visiting Bruce Castle Park where the community cafe at the heart of the park is in need of some love. Come and join us!
Also, we'll be at Chestnut Park Festival for one of our funtastic community missions. Boom!
