A small team of Yorkies decided to do some good on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon.

Some of us went to the morning mission at Tedder Road park, then for a coffee and a cake at relatively new, yet already famous bakery outlet on York Road in Acomb. Refreshed and powered up we assembled on Cambridge Street to sweep leaf and other detritus from a 'forgotten corner' which is going to be transformed with planters and fruit trees. After 45 minutes we gathered 10 bags full of damp leaf and one full bag of litter - picked by Rich around the nearby hedge.

Conversations today were about textiles recycling, carbohydrate foods hierarchy and running of course.

We were having such good time together that that we decided to go for another coffee, this time to the Refill place, just off Nunnery Lane.
