Report written by Gill (She/her)
I usually Volunteer in Luton, but today as I had time to spare between a morning and evening appointment I decided to nip over to Islington for a mission. I was greeted warmly by Mrs E who immediately offered me tea or coffee. I advised her that she would be best to wait until I’d actually done some work. So I soon got stuck into weeding her patio garden, scraping moss and sweeping up leaves while being supervised by her large but friendly garden gnomes. After an hour or so , Mrs E decided that I had done a good job so far and rewarded me with a cuppa some chocolate too. I finished tidying up the last of the leaves and was ready to head off. Lots of smiles from Mrs E and her gnomes.
