Gym Bunting of Cardiff is a self-taught genius, spending free time drinking with friends, Fiona, Martin, Lucy, Lydia, Mikey and Ben. When Teacher Wendy posts a difficult problem as a challenge, good Gym solves it.
There are no problems, only solutions
The problem, getting the Autumn Fete set up for Coryton primary school. Usually this would involve moving all of the furniture from the school out for the stalls, but with the weather as it was this was another problem. So together they ran, and a short 3 ¾ miles later they were ready to be ‘schooled’. And so with rain all around it seemed that ‘fete’ had decided to stay indoors. This made the work different, and stopped any inflatable fun with the slides, and so to work. Fiona and Lydia found the best game of the evening, The Wine Game, but to work drying furniture from outside and moving it in, preparing seating for the masses to come and buy their goodies, moving some books for a stall and finally the wonders of bunting.
To the debate, can bunting be a verb – to bunt?
Continual work, only stopping for a quick grab flapjack and the burst of energy it provided. It was a lovely, if not slightly damp morning with bunting galore, the more adventurous (Ben, Martin and Lydia) even took some outside, Ben making it into a bikini – and in school too! Whilst happily in the dry Fiona and Lucy were busy making sure a sign was ready to welcome all into the school. Once started they just couldn’t ‘leaf’ it alone until it looked autumnal.
After being given a lovely goodie bag we were then treated to pizza and hot drinks, all fuelled a raring to go Good gym left.
