Six Goodgymers met on the Farm this morning to help Pat with some livestock tasks.

It was exciting to see three brand new faces: welcome Joaquin, Federico and Saniha! You chose an excellent first task, and kudos to Saniha for today's title.

We were also joined by Tori for her third Goodgym session, topped off with Rebecca who is an old hand at the farm.

Once we had all gathered, Pat took us to the sheep pen to get to work clearing it out. Federico led the sheep into their field with some hay. Then we got to work sweeping and shovelling; transporting the waste to the manure heap; re-bedding the shed with some nice clean straw; and cleaning and refilling the water troughs. Joaquin stepped up as king of the manure heap - not often a popular role!

Next stop on the dung-tour was the goat pen. We swept up all the goat poo, with some cuddles along the way. Pat then gave us some food to feed them to finish off and after a few goat selfies and some retail therapy at the farm shop, we headed our separate ways for the afternoon.

Thanks all for coming - hope to see you all at another session soon!
