Two of us picked up litter in different parts of Lewisham at different times. Adi did sterling work in Sydenham’s Mayow Park, Paul litter picked along the floodplain of the Ravensbourne in Deptford’s Brookmill Park.

In Deptford there was a lot to collect, much had been hidden a week ago by heavy frost so there was a bumper harvest of beer cans, plastic bags, coffee takeaways and washed out paper - two black bags full.
