It might be that disorientating time between Christmas and New Year when time loses all meaning and you aren't quite sure what day of the week it is, but 6 GoodGymers set their alarms for 4:30pm Wednesday to meet our commitments with the food bank.

We finished packing the day's food parcels ready for delivery, sorted the fruit and veg to weed out all the mouldy items, emptied out of date food from the fridges, restocked the shelves, and helped load up cars for the various delivery routes.

It was a calm shift with an early finish; a post-Christmas miracle!
