This week @GGSHEFF celebrated it's 100th group run - WOOOOP WOOOOP!

We were back off to Lynwood Gardens this week to help out Pappa G with the ongoing upkeep that is needed at the gardens and Kindergarten.

A huge welcome to 2 new runners to the GG Fam;

GIVE EM A CHEER!

With a couple of loopbacks on route to keep the fam 2gether4eva we made our way out to Lynwood Gardens where Big Daddy G was awaiting with tools and tactics for us all. We quickly identified 4 TASK FORCE team capitanos who would lead the brave GG clan into battle with various horticultural enemies in the garden.

The teams this week were;

  1. TEAM WOODCHIP
  2. TEAM SPREAD CHIP
  3. TEAM LOP & CHOP
  4. TEAM COMPOST CLEAR

Everyone got reyt stuck in with wheelbarrowers running and woodchip being spread like butter on a hot crumpet!

FANTASTIC WORK ALL

On the way back we slipped a few cheeky fun fitness bits in inc;

  • Loop backs
  • High knees
  • Wall sits
  • Stair sets

Until next time, happy running!

Regather
A trading co-operative helping people work together, support each other and make projects happen. Social action centre by day and intimate events venue by night.

Regather is a community benefit society working to improve food and build community in Sheffield. We run an organic farm, veg box scheme, and many other community projects. In our organisation, we centre our work around care for our environment and the people in our community. Our objects are to foster community development and understanding around the importance of the local food system in Sheffield and how it works, in order to enable everyone to work together to democratically change their food system for the better.
