Four fabulous friday fun Yorkies met at the new Kingsway West meadow to help Gordon. We rapidly bagged up the straw / hay / cuttings / mowings / weeds. Armed with arms, hands and a pitchfork we filled the builders bags so quickly we had to go in search of more. Getting lost after not really heeding Gordon's directions did mean we got some extra steps in. Stomping down the contents of the bags didn't result in sufficient space for all the straw, but we all know that means - watch this space as there'll be another trip to the meadow soon to finish off what we have started.

Kings Path WIldflower meadow
Starting the creation of a new wildflower meadow

The local residents would like to see this area improved to create a new wildflower meadow with some trees planted round the edges. There are residents who are happy to help look after the area but they would benefit from some help to get the area started.
