Two Good Gymers from Liverpool went to the Claire House Hospice sorting warehouse to help sort through a seemingly endless number of bags of donated items from clothes to shoes, to bric-a-brac, to general rubbish. It was hard at first to take all of the rules on board but Pauline and Matthew were soon in their stride, aided by Sara from the charity, who was amazing to be around and a real inspiration, as were all the other volunteers there.

We managed to sort through a whole skip full of items and it was amazing to see what the public have donated. Even the clothes, which were dirty have a value as they are bagged and recycled. It was a really fulfilling way to spend a morning, knowing that we are helping to raise funds for the charity, which will help families who have a child with a life limiting illness.
