Brunswick Bank Holiday Bonanza - Easter Monday

A bit of Brunswick Cemetery weeding/cutting/tidying followed by picnic lunch in the gloriously sunny bank holiday weather for those of us joining the Friends of Brunswick Cemetery.

We ran through Brunswick Cemetery on my first ever GoodGym group run (just before the Trainer, Pru, was nearly knocked over by a unicyclist - well, it is Bristol). It’s a lovely space but doesn’t have a big friends group to look after it so we’re going to lend a hand.

There’s path to find, bindweed to bind out, sticky bud plants to stick it to, brambles to, err, hack back and more!

You’ll want gloves and any favourite hand tools - we’ll have extras there so don’t let that put you off. The biting insects are making the most of the sunnier times, too.

You don’t need to arrive for the whole two hours and if the weather turns, we’ll pack up sooner and head for a coffee or lunch indoors somewhere.
